There have been members of the Harris family in Dumbleton for many years.   The Dumbleton Estate Cottage Report of November 1875 shows a Thomas Harris living in cottage no. 65.    Another report, dated April 1892, shows Thomas Harris now living at cottage no. 19.

Tom Harris driving a tractor, probably in the late 1920's or early 1930's.  The tractor is an "International Junior", one of the most popular tractors produced in the USA during the First World War.   Large numbers were shipped to Europe soon after the war ended, particularly to Great Britain.   Production continued until 1922.   In the year 2000 a good specimen of this model would be worth around £5000.
